It’s no surprise that many artists paint from photographs. But few photos translate into great paintings without adjustments in design, value and color. Beth shares how she uses the camera as a powerful creative tool. You’ll learn how to choose a good photo reference, combine shots and transform problem photos into stronger, more expressive compositions. The workshop concentrates on the well-planned, well-executed painting, starting with a good idea and bringing it to a great finish. Individual instruction and attention will be given on all levels. Beth is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West and Watercolor USA Honor Roll. Her work is featured in International Artist’s 100 Ways to Paint Favorite Subjects, Splash 5:- the Glory of Color and Splash 6: The Magic of Texture.
